NJ Airport Limo Service & Tips for Comfy Long Flights

July 30, 2015

Traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures is the perfect way to learn more about both the world and yourself. But while going to a new place may sound like an exciting proposition, getting there may not exactly be the same.

If you are taking a long airplane ride, there are several things that you can do to make the trip more bearable or even fun.

On top of that list is opting for an NJ airport limo service. If you own your own car, the advantage of taking a limo is that you do not have to worry about leaving your vehicle. Furthermore, you are assured that you can get to your scheduled flight with hardly any hitch.

It is also worthwhile to bring along items that can provide you a good measure of comfort like a small pillow and your own blanket. A pack of sanitary wipes can go a long way and you can use it for a variety of purposes while on board a plane. You might also want to bring your own eye mask so you can catch some sleep, as well as a pair of noise-cancelling headphones to block off the chatter from other passengers.

When you are dressing up for a flight, let comfort take precedence over style. Choose garments that are loose and comfy and stay away from clothes that are made from synthetic materials. Leave unnecessary accessories behind. Some flights can get chilly while others can get warm. Make the necessary preparations. Also, you might want to check the weather at your destination so you can bring the appropriate clothing.

To keep yourself from getting bored, you might want to update your playlist on your phone or MP3 player. If you have a tablet, you might want to download a few new games or upload e-books. Make sure that your gadgets are fully charged before boarding the plane.

For long flights, it is a good idea to bring snacks so you can keep your tummy full and not depend on airplane food. Although some airlines serve a variety of drinks, it is better to drink water to keep yourself hydrated.

If you are dealing with a particular medical condition, make sure that you bring your medication with you. It will also be helpful to bring medications for common conditions like nausea and headache.

Before the flight, make sure that you get ample rest. Take note that in some cases, you may not get sufficient time for sleep and rest while on board a plane. Additionally, if you are tired, you may be more susceptible to catching colds and flu.
