Tip Sheet For a Great Experience Onboard Luxury Limo

July 30, 2015

When it comes to quality limo service, NJ residents and businesses should know that it has evolved from being a luxury into a practical option that is well worth considering for either a professional or leisurely purpose. In short, you do not have to be a rock star, Hollywood celeb or the head honcho of a multinational firm to reap the benefits of the service.

But with so many companies offering a limo service, how do you choose the best one and get the best value for your money?

Everything begins with the selection process. When deciding on the company to hire, the best place to start would be asking for recommendations from friends and relatives (or, for business owners, from your peers in the industry). Alternatively, you can browse the Internet for companies operating near your area or the place you intend to spend a vacation. If you prefer the latter option, spend adequate time searching and reading third-party reviews which will allow you to see what other people are saying about the limo company. Apart from stellar customer reviews, a reputable company should have the necessary licenses for itself, its fleet and its personnel.

Once you have made a shortlist, inquire about the costs and the passenger capacity of the vehicles in each company’s fleet. Once you have chosen a limo service company, make sure that all details regarding costs, deposits, refunds, pick-up and drop-off points, type of vehicle and other important details are made clear, preferably in writing. Also, make sure that you keep your copy of the receipt. Remember to pore over the contract and read the fine print. A day or two before you’ll need the limo, confirm all the important details with the company to avoid any hassle.

If you’re hiring a limo to transport your son or daughter to the prom, remind him or her that alcohol consumption in a limousine is prohibited for minors. On the other hand, if you are renting a limo to party out in the city, you may request for liquor to be provided for you and your friends. Sometimes, limos roll out dry or they do not carry liquor on board, so requesting for it would be a prudent party move on your part.

It may also be helpful to designate one person to give instructions to the driver, whether you are touring the city or having a night out in the town. This will make it easier for both the driver and your party and allow you to avoid confusion and unnecessary hassles.
