Hiring a Limousine: 5 Events You Must Book a Limo For

hiring a limousine

Think back to the first time you went in a limo. How did it feel hiring a limousine? If you’re like most people, it made you feel like a movie star, if not the most famous person in the world. A special event is a great time to consider special transportation.

Take a look at these five times when it makes great sense to hire a limo!

1. A Wedding

On the day of your wedding, you’re supposed to feel like the most important person in the world. Why not cement that by making sure everyone in traffic knows you’re special, too?

Plus, limos are large enough to fit your entire bridal party, unless it’s so big that you need a party bus.

But hiring a limo for a wedding isn’t just for the bride – men deserve to feel special, too. Hiring a limo to take people to the ceremony, especially those who are in it, will also help make sure everyone is on time.

When the reception is over, there’s nothing more romantic than jumping into a limo to head off on your honeymoon with your loved one — even if that honeymoon is a hotel on the other side of town, or a few minutes away.

Think about how great the pictures of people waving you goodbye will look with a classy limousine in the background.

Our limos can take you to the nearest airport if that honeymoon involves you catching a flight. Not leaving until the next morning? Taking a limo means you won’t have to worry about paying for parking.

Depending on how long your honeymoon is, the cost of parking will probably be more than hiring the limo itself! So, it’s both romantic and realistic.

2. Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

Speaking of weddings, what about the festivities leading up to them? Hiring a party bus or limo to take your girls or your guys to your last-hurrah party is the most fun and safest way to travel.

If you and your friends like to dance, we recommend looking into one of our party busses. They have a range of amenities, like lights and music control, that will make the journey part of the party itself.

Need another reason? It’s the responsible thing to do.

When you’re going out to your bachelor or bachelorette party, you’re going to be drinking. It’s no fun if someone has to be the designated driver – this is supposed to be a night where everyone lets loose.

Hiring a limo or a party bus means you have a pre-designated designated driver, who will be 100% sober. None of that “I’ll just drink at the start of the night and sober up later” jazz that your friends are likely to do.

Don’t start your marriage off with a DUI or a buddy’s DUI. Hire a professional car service to keep everyone safe on your big night out!

3. Sorority and Fraternity Formals

If you’re the event planner for your upcoming event or formal, and if you have it off-site, you need to check your bylaws. Most state that if you’re having a party that’s a certain distance away, you need to provide safe and mass transportation for your guests.

This is more likely to be the case for sororities, as their rules are generally stricter, but it’s still a good idea for fraternity formals as well.

Plus, getting a party bus or a limo for the people going allows you to make sure everyone arrives and leaves at the same time. It gives people a place to leave their coats and purses if they don’t want to deal with them while they’re dancing.

Yes, it’s an extra expense to budget for, but it’s a lot less stressful than having people get in trouble on the way to or from an event. Your nationals will be proud of you for taking this preemptive step, and your actives will be thankful they don’t have to find a DD or pay for an expensive Uber.

4. Prom

No one wants their mom or dad to have to drop them off at prom. Prom is the first event you get to go to in high school that makes you feel like a true adult. Plus, the time on the party bus both to and from prom can be just as fun as the actual event.

In the party bus or limo, you get to be only with your friends, play the music you like, and not have the peering eyes of teacher chaperones judging your every move.

That’s not to say the buses and limos don’t have rules, though, but we’ll go over that when everyone’s loaded and ready to go.

Plus, having a large prom group means that you can split the cost of your bus or limo, making it more affordable than you previously thought.

5. Graduation

College campuses are a pain to drive around and even worse to park at. Especially when they’re holding large events, like graduations.

If you have a large group and don’t live within walking distance of the venue, hiring a limo will save you time and stress on the big day. You don’t want to be so late finding parking that you miss your turn to line up or miss your loved one crossing the stage in their cap and gown.

Hiring a Limousine

If you’re attending an event where there will be photos or where first impressions matter, consider hiring a limousine.

Not only are they glamourous, but they also mean you don’t have to worry about parking or having a designated driver.
