Concert Tips
As we are waving goodbye to summer we must also say so long to this year’s summer concert series. Catching one of the last concerts for Summer 2024? Enjoy these concert tips.
- Arrive Early: Arriving early removes the stress of rushing to catch the show. Give yourself time to get a prime spot/find your seats, first dibs at some merch, find the closest restroom and maybe grab a snack before the show starts.
- Know Before You Go: Each venue has their own rules which can vary with each event. Checkout the venue website to get a heads up on what is/isn’t allowed. There can be bag restrictions, prohibited outside food, or restricted camera use.
- Dress Comfortably: Even if you have reserved seats you could be walking a lot depending on the venue. Sneakers are a great concert go to. Be mindful of the weather if your concert is outdoors, a light jacket or layers may be a good idea.
- Stay hydrated: Earplugs are often overlooked as concert must haves. No matter how close or far your seats are, these can come in handy.
- Plan Your Transportation: You can drive, take public transportation (to some venues), or schedule car service. Research your options and what will be easiest for you. Keep in mind some venues charge parking fess depending on the event they’re hosting. It can also vary by vehicle type.
- Bring Cash: We all know most vendors and venues are cashless, however having some cash on hand is always a good idea in case of emergencies.
- Be Respectful: Everyone is there for the same reasons as you, to listen to good music and enjoy themselves.
- Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: Know where your exits are in case of emergency, keep an eye on attendees getting out of hand and stay clear.
- Enjoy the Moment: Yes we all want to remember the great time we had and share our experience, however sometimes the best thing to do is put the phone away to truly experience the moment without worrying about capturing it.
